I understand how difficult it is to write something that cuts your heart in pieces. I'm sure I'm not telling you something you don't already know, but, when you are ready to share it, you will. During your reading of the beginning of the story in class, I could hear and "feel" the pain in your voice. You are very compassionate, which is definitely not a bad thing for a writer.
