No bats last night. Slept the whole night through. Recharged my bat-tries, so to speak.
Tomorrow morning Mom and I leave for China, terrorist plots, liquid/gel restrictions, long lines at airports notwithstanding.

Leave your hair gel at home, but have an INCREDIBLE time in China!
Be safe, but HAVE FUN!
Write in that big black book of yours OFTEN--even the smallest of details--ESPECIALLY the smallest of details (my most sincere travel advice). :)
I hope China gets under your skin and causes you to fall in love with the places you visit.
